Quote from CBSA:

"John Collar, chief executive and president of the Colorado Bioscience Association, applauds InDevR's efforts and intentions, noting the increasing importance of bioscience to the Colorado economy. 'We hope they stay here and grow rapidly,' he said.

Collar believes InDevR's plan to fund its own growth, while difficult to execute, aligns with an environment that has changed dramatically in the last few years. 'Angel investors and venture capitalists are less interested in early-stage companies now,' he explains, 'so if you can make it through the early stages self-funded, do it.'"

Quote from CBSA:

"All medical-device makers face a big challenge in raising money to prove a new technology, said John Collar, head of the Colorado BioScience Association trade group for biotechnology and medical device companies.

'There is still money out there, but you have to be lucky enough to find the investment houses looking for the kind of investment at your company’s stage of development,' Collar said.

There are some venture capital firms and angel investors that specialize in seeding small, experimental startups in the hope of finding a major breakthrough in treatments, he said."
